This is so a major job which needs to be addressed with all the earnestness that it deserves. However, the instructors, in the procedure of controling this mystifier, may stop up passing instructional clip on the same, something that affects the overall academic criterions in the long tally. Background Covering with this facet of force in schools has become a teething job to most instructors. High profile degrees of force are most dealt with, but strong-arming is one signifier of force which is non considered to be utmost but ought to be taken attention of, lest it brings down the criterions of instruction due to its inauspicious effects. Harmonizing to research which has been carried out in the recent times, intimidation has been found to hold really deep effects on the general acquisition ambiance of a school. The ability of proper acquisition by the pupil is extremely affected due to apprehensiveness. This is brought approximately by the torment and all signifiers of bullying associated with intimidation patterns. Anti-bully plans which are to win at the school degree need to aim the kids as persons. This will assist in altering the manner the pupils position and comprehend the whole affair, which translates to a safer acquisition environment. To accomplish this, all the parties have to be profoundly involved in these plans, that is, the victims, the toughs, those who witness these actions, and even their households ( Whitted A ; Dupper, 2010 ) . For these types of plans to bear fruit, the instructors and decision makers must ever demo their involvement by manner of to the full back uping the plan. This involves passing fundss on them and guaranting that the plans are taught in category by manner of drifting them in the course of study. One such policy should clearly specify what intimidation is and most likely a coverage system which is rather confidential. This will travel a long manner in promoting those who are victimized or have witnessed such an action in the establishment to describe without fright of being known ( Nansel et al, 2009 ) . An appraisal of the advancement of the anti-bully plans is supposed to be implemented in order to c over decently with this frailty. This can be done in signifier of questionnaires which are distributed most frequently. Through such appraisals, consciousness is created in the school and aid to take a firm stand the importance of good behavioural patterns. Such an appraisal besides assistance in the procedure of coming up with other schemes such as programs of implementing the plans which are set, since everyone is involved. Now that everyone is involved, consciousness and cognition over the same is enhanced, one thing that help cultivate virtuousnesss such as empathy in the pupil ‘s lives. Bullying is one pattern which is of a major concern to all schools. Not merely does it impact the academic criterions of the pupils and the school in general, but besides leads to eroding of the behaviours and ethical motives of those involved, particularly the toughs. This job needs to be sorted out for there to be a good and ample environment for larning to take topographic point efficaciously. Research has proven that most instructors take strong-arming for granted. They take it as mere childhood wonts and behaviours. The dining hall torment patterns, for illustration, are normally overlooked, and this forms the footing for this type of sick behaviour that needs to be done off with ( Whitted A ; Dupper, 2010 ) . The job arises where the instructors tend to pass clip covering with intimidation instances, clip which could otherwise be used in productive academic work. This is because they are involved to the full in the decision-making procedures, which include coming up with polic ies which may be used in covering with this job. Execution of these policies is besides time-consuming ; particularly where they are floated after there is an dismaying rate of strong-arming incidences. Both school and student-intervention methods discussed earlier on should be implemented in order to cultivate an environment which is friendly and easy to cover with. Teachers who have incorporated instructions on strong-arming into their instruction course of study find it easy to cover with this frailty in ulterior yearss. This is because the pupils learn to appreciate each other and incidences of strong-arming are greatly reduced. A qualitative descriptive research methodological analysis is appropriate while transporting out this survey since it entails inside informations refering the ideas of people, particularly the instructors and their sentiments. The population group has to affect unfastened inquiries and a physical instruction instructor from Jacksonville, FL Schools. Purpose statement The intent of this descriptive qualitative survey is to derive some apprehension from instructors about their perceptual experiences and patterns environing strong-arming behaviours in category. This is based on the fact that teachers view this whole issue in a different position. This research survey is aimed at look intoing the grade and extent of job behaviour in schools nationally. Some signifiers of job behaviours are non viewed as being exterme, and are therefore overlooked. One such signifier of force is strong-arming and is truly widespread ( Whitted A ; Dupper, 2010 ) . The environment and general temper of the school is ever affected by strong-arming patterns. The aftereffects of strong-arming are far much alarming and it ‘s a high clip the job is solved one time and for all. The other intent of this descriptive qualitative research survey is to look into the sort of attempts which are underway in schools to forestall job behaviour. Due to the inauspicious effects of the latter in schools, a batch is being done to make away with it. The instructors are the acknowledged leaders in this attempt ; nevertheless, duty for effectual anti-bullying plans must be the duty of the entire school community ( Nansel et al, 2009 ) . One of them is integrating strong-arming bar plans in the course of study. This aid in early instructions against job behaviours in the pupils. It besides creates awareness amongst the school community and will travel a long manner in forestalling any farther behavioural jobs in future. Policies to cover with intimidation jobs are besides established. This has to affect all the members of the school community for effectual execution and attachment to these policies. The caputs of the schools are besides at the head in the kerb of these behav ioural jobs. There bases are to be steadfast and should direct strong messages which prohibit these signifiers of force since they extremely and negatively hold both physical, societal, and psychological impacts. The concluding intent of this descriptive research survey is to look into how good the attempts to forestall job behaviour are being implemented. Some of the policies are implemented, but non in full, a thing which hinders the full realisation of the chief aim. The school squad responsible for inadvertence of the school ‘s blustery bar plan provides developing for all staff members on this issue and any other behavioural jobs and this commission trade with execution of all the set up policies ( Nansel et al, 2009 ) . Four Views of Hell free essay sample

These four professors argue the following views of hell: literal, metaphorical, purgatorial and conditional interpretations. This book peers inside the different theories of hell, each of their relation to the Bible and the evolution throughout time. Each chapter begins with that particular scholar’s view, followed by the rebuttal by his colleagues. Brief Summary The first chapter is written by, John Walvoord, and he begins by providing the foundation for the literal view of hell. The author expends the greater part of this section of the book describing these fundamental principles. He argues that hell is a position of perpetual punishment for those who are sinners in the Earth. He derives this view from native translations of the Bible using both the Old and New Testaments. Walvoord exactly takes the words from the Bible’s predictions and the absolute inerrancy of the Bible to suggest that this is the only way to view hell and eternal punishment. The chapter concludes with the author using the literal view to encourage the reader to help people avoid hell and the painfulness, by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The second chapter is written by William V. Crockett and he has taken the metaphorical view of hell, as read in the Bible and studied by scholars. His view of hell is comparable to the preceding author’s view; it only differs in how the punishment will be administered to the lost. The author has strong Calvinsitic ties, in that he believes that the fortellings of the punishment of hell is not to be taken literally, but as a metaphor. Crockett further states that the reality of hell is indescribable with words and the words that are contained in the Bible are only a breakdown that the human mind can absorb. The chapter concludes with the author stating his disdain for the conditional view. In the third chapter, Zachary J. Hayes takes on the subject of purgatory in the hell discussion. Purgatory in this book is a place where the dead will go, when they don’t quite make it to heaven, but are not bad enough for hell. Notably the author cannot find any Biblical references for purgatory, however he does state that the idea of purgatory evolved from a personal tradition that the Catholic Church adopted. Hayes does also note that he agrees with the metaphorical view of hell. In fourth chapter of the book is written by Dr. Clark Pinnock on the conditional view of hell. The conditional view is also referred to as annihilation, which means that hell will be a punishment of fire and lead to utter destruction of sinners. The actual destruction is the punishment, not the fire itself. Pinnock, uses diverse scriptures that support his claim of everlasting death and God’s moral values. Critical interaction with the author’s work The authors’ goal of this book is to give an educated as well as Biblical look at the different versions of hell. Although the word is talked about many times, but the authors’ aim is to give people all the information available on the subject. After which the reader can make personal decision about their own personal truth. The authors do achieve his goal of factually representing the literal, metaphorical, purgatorial and conditional interpretations of hell. Each author has not imposed his personal opinion or view of hell, but however stated the facts from Biblical and theological sources. Also, having each author evaluate the other authors’ arguments shows potential fallacies in each and gives the reader information to further reflect, evaluate and draw personal conclusions. The strengths of this book would be first, the book was written by students of the word who supported the majority of their arguments with scripture first and with theology second. In the literal view of hell the author comes directly from scriptures and uses those scriptures to plainly paint a picture that we have already been taught since childhood. In the metaphorical argument of hell the author uses scriptures that show support the claim that the descriptions of hell are only be used as metaphors and not to be interpreted literally. The chapter on the conditional view of hell is well written and covers the punishment and destruction parts of hell thoroughly. The first weakness that we encounter in this book is the fact that in the literal view of hell the author does not address the issue of why the scriptures must be taken literally, instead of figuratively. In the metaphorical view of hell the author never addresses the issue of what will actually be, nor does he attempt to answer questions that seem to violate the traits of God. The author in the conditional view of hell uses much of his writing to appeal to the human senses and not to justify those emotions or feelings with scriptures. In the view on purgatory the author spends very little to no time talking about hell, but the time that is between heaven and hell. Although purgatory is the median between heaven and hell the author seems to focus on how the soul can make it to heaven and not the latter. In my opinion I feel that this book would not be suitable for all lay persons to read. I feel that this book would be of best use in the hands of all persons who teach in the church. This book would not only give them basis for what they believe in, but it would also give them the opportunity to understand the contradictions in various beliefs. I feel that this book could be a useful tool to teach about sin. Although the authors have different views on what hell will actually be like, but it does hold one idea in agreement. Hell is a real place it, and sinners will be there. After some research there seem to be many other books that are written about hell. Those other books, after reading summaries, take a similar approach and try to inform the reader what hell is going to be like and what it is not going to be. Many of those books not only deal with hell, but they also address heaven as well with the same level of concern. Conclusion In conclusion the book â€Å"The four views of hell,† the author does achieve his goal. However I feel that the chapter on purgatory did not fit in the book, because the argument was not supported by scriptures and does not necessary classify itself as hell. The book does make thing a little bit about heaven, but more about sin. This book points the finger back to the place where we need not only teach about heaven, but teach also about hell. Many people get lost in the mind frame that there is only heaven or life on earth.

Vigneswaralingam ENG4U1-06 Friday, February 22nd, 2013 Love Thy Stealing Neighbor Can you imagine your bicycle suddenly disappearing when you leave it out in front of your house for just a few minutes? Bicycles are convenient, and when I was young I was in that era where they were the most popular vehicles. If you brought your bicycle to school you automatically became the â€Å"coolest† kid in school. No matter how the bicycle was. It could’ve been old, new, expensive, pink, or had bright gold lightning bolts printed on the bars—you were still part of the â€Å"cool† kids squad. I remember reading that approximately one billion people in the world own a bicycle, that’s a lot considering that there is an estimated population of slightly over seven billion people on Earth. I was part of that one billion people in the world who owned a bicycle until my neighbor stole my bicycle. I’ve had many bicycles in the past but none of them were like the one I had when I was only nine years old. It wasn’t luxurious or anything, just an old secondhand bicycle, but when I rode it I felt remarkable! It was spray painted with a dark metallic blue that shined in the night sky during late night rides. The bicycle handles had this bright yellow rubber star covers that contained bits of black, which would explain that it was old. The seat was just flawless, it was easy to get on and get off—it was snug and made me feel really high up from the ground. That bicycle I had was fantastic it really made me feel like a queen when I sat on it—but not even Queen Elizabeth could’ve possibly had the amazing bike I had. It was during perhaps early June when I was roughly nine years old, when my bicycle disappeared from my eyes. It was a hot summer day and I had just came home to grab a quick dinner after playing in the park with a couple friends. I recall there was a track where my friends and I would race each other on bicycles—I always came in first! So I reached my house to grab dinner and later my friends and I would return back to the park so I just left my bicycle out in the front of the house, leaning against my garage door. When I usually leave it out in the front my parents would always yell at me saying â€Å"one day someone’s going to steal your bicycle† and forced me to lock it up in the backyard—but I figured I was only going in for a couple minutes, nobody would steal it. I quickly gobbled down my dinner. As I finished and was about to head out the door I heard my favorite show’s theme song—who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Squarepants! My sister was watching SpongeBob Squarepants in the living room with the volume really loud, how could I possibly refuse to watch my favorite show? So I threw my sneakers off and ran into the living room. A few minutes later my friend had called asking if we were still going back but she said that she was tired and that we will go back tomorrow. I was in full SpongeBob Sqaurepants zombie mode so all I was saying was â€Å"uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, okay bye. † As soon as the show finished I recalled I had left my bicycle out and in a few minutes my father would return from work and see it out there. I ran out to bring it to the backyard but as I walked up to the front of my garage it was gone! At that moment I had no idea what to do. I ran into my backyard to check if it was there because maybe my mother took it back for me—but no it wasn’t there. I knew someone stole my bicycle now, I thought maybe they couldn’t have gotten far. I had a one of a kind bicycle so it would be easy to find. So I ran towards the park to see if anyone was riding it and if anyone had it some little kid fights were going to go down—it wasn’t in the park either. I had to face the fact that it was gone—gone forever. I walked back from the park and all I could think about was how I would tell my parents and how they would respond. I pictured that they’d give my a huge hug and be like â€Å"aw, its okay! You’re the coolest kid and the coolest kid deserves another bicycle! † Well that’s not quite what happened. They were just pointing their fingers at me, blaming me for my bicycle being stolen. Their response was nothing like I pictured, â€Å"you’re a complete moron! How many times do we have to tell you not to leave your bike out! Now you have no bicycle and don’t think once that we would buy you a new one. † Why couldn’t they recognize the pain I was going through after losing my bicycle. Days had passed and I was still deprived of a bicycle. All my friends desired to do was ride their bicycles so I always felt left out. I stopped going out much because I couldn’t find much to do without a bicycle—I tried poking holes in the dirt with a stick but ended up flicking dirt into my face. There was absolutely nothing to do. One day as I was sitting eating dinner with my family my father mentioned how he saw my bicycle. Out of astonishment I spit out my food from my mouth, which landed into my sister’s plate, which she beat me up for after. I began to ask him the five w’s and a h questions. To sum up all those questions the answers all came to I. Saw. Our. Neighbor. With. Your. Bicycle. I was really surprised and I thought my father retrieved my bicycle back but to my surprise he didn’t because he thought it was my responsibility if I wanted it back. You know you live in a grim world when your neighbor steals your bicycle. I remember one day I was coming home from the park with my grandma and cousin and I saw my neighbor’s daughter. I ran the fastest I have ever ran—I could’ve even beat Canada’s women’s 1992 three thousand metres Olympic medalist Angela Chalmers, that’s how much adrenaline was running through me. I ran up to her, tapped her on the shoulder and as she turned around I tried to catch my breathe and began yelling. She looked confused and had a bit of fear on her face. I yelled saying that her father was a stealer who stole my bicycle and that I wanted it back. All she could reply to after all that yelling was â€Å"I don’t know what you’re talking about†. How could she not know what I’m talking about? I made it very clear her father stole my bike. She then replied, â€Å"my father didn’t steal your bicycle†. I was going to go on and yell some more but I noticed my grandma and cousin had caught up and was near by. My neighbor’s daughter left and my grandma caught up to me and asked â€Å"are you okay? † I replied, â€Å"I’m fine† but as we walked home everything in my mind was saying, â€Å"no I just want my bicycle back! † My neighbor’s daughter knew exactly what I was talking about. It was about a week after my bicycle was stolen when she came to school on my bicycle—my metallic blue spray painted with bright yellow rubber star covers, bicycle. She mentioned that her father had â€Å"bought† this bicycle for her, which only got me outraged because he stole it from me. I wanted to go up to her and take my bicycle back but for some reason I couldn’t. She wouldn’t believe it’s mine and give it back. Or her father wouldn’t admit he stole my bicycle and gifted it to his daughter. I just didn’t do anything and walked into school—but on the last day of school when I brought scrumptious chocolate chip cookies, I didn’t even give her one. That’s how evil I got. So I let her keep the bicycle, maybe she enjoyed it as much as I loved it. I was now one of the normal school kids who had no bicycle at school, or had no bicycle at all for my situation. It was hard for me to forget that bicycle but my life did go on and eventually my parents brought me a new bicycle. The new bicycle wasn’t as great as the one that got stolen or made me feel like a queen when I sat on it, but it was a bicycle. It got me to places I needed to go and I was up and racing in my friends’ bicycle races again. When looking at this memory now it still makes me mad. When re-living this memory in my head I can see my neighbor and I can see how much I hated him for stealing my bicycle. In the bible it says â€Å"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself†Ã¢â‚¬â€well even now I ain’t loving thy neighbor. I’ve moved houses a long time ago so I’ve never seen my old neighbor in years but if I could just ask one question to him it would be, â€Å"Why? Why did you think it was a good idea to steal my bicycle? † I just want the truth to that question because that bicycle meant a lot to me and we went through a lot together. One thing I’ve learned from this sad memory was not to leave my things hanging around. Since I left my bicycle out when I should’ve locked it in the backyard, it got stolen. Ever since that incident you could see I matured a bit at that time by not leaving my things out where it could get stolen. I’ve been much more careful with my belongings than I was about eight years ago. My bicycle I currently have is always locked up in my backyard or I lock it up in my garage so I don’t repeat the same episode again. I’m now back up and running as a person who owns a bicycle which brings the total of people who own bicycles on Earth to about a billion—I do make a difference to the number. This memory as a child will be with me forever as it made me learn to be more careful and secure with my things—especially with my neighbors.

The Dos and Donts of Job Hunting While Youre At Work

The Dos and Donts of Job Hunting While Youre At Work One problem with job hunting when you work in an open office is the lack of privacy, which can be reminiscent of a college dorm. Since you can’t put up your own partitions, learning how to use stealth moves while job searching can help you. There are ways to practice your stealth without putting on a fake nose and eyeglasses while pretending to be a visitor to the office, and these tips can help you out. Handling Phone Calls at the OfficeSince you can’t hold a conversation with a recruiter using only words such as uh-huh or no, talking to a recruiter while at the office is not a good idea. It is a better idea to set your phone on voicemail, and give the recruiter a callback when you are somewhere else, whether it’s another part of the building or at a local cafe during lunch hour. The main point is to keep others in your office from knowing you are job searching, or the next person who finds out about it might be your boss.Using Company Phones or Other EquipmentI f you are using a company phone to receive or make phone calls about job listings, you might as well go ahead and put up a banner that says you are job hunting. Other employees might overhear those phone calls and deduce that you are job hunting. In addition, many employers monitor computer use in the event employees are playing on the Internet instead of working, and finding that an employee has been checking the job classifieds could be problematic. Don’t use company phones or emails to contact others about job openings. Instead, only use your personal phone number and email to job hunt.Keeping It PrivateWhile you may have friends among your coworkers, the fastest way for the news to get around that you are job hunting is to share that information in the office. If you feel you have a friend in the office whom you can absolutely trust, you should still think twice before taking that person into your confidence.Social Media MistakesEmployers frequently check social media emp loyee accounts, LinkedIn and other sites to see what employees are doing. If you have updated your profile or resume, it might end up reported back to your boss. Turning off features that broadcast updates and making your information private can help. Actively broadcasting that you are job hunting on social media websites is a bad idea and would be better left to private messaging only to individuals you trust.Advertising on Job BoardsAdvertising on job boards lets you job hunt while keeping your personal information private. While this may not be the best way to job hunt, since an employer has to actively search for someone with your qualifications, it is one way to keep the news that you are job hunting from the eyes of your current employer.Updating Your ResumeIf you need to update your resume and don’t want to post it to LinkedIn or other sites where this might be discovered, then do it in private on your home computer, of course. Apply directly to job sites or companies and include your new resume from home. The personal approach can take more time for you to find the right job but can receive more attention from employers who are really interested in your talents.Don’t Go to Interviews From the OfficeOne mistake job hunters make is that they make interview appointments from the office or take personal leave during the day. It can look suspicious when you normally dress in comfortable clothing for the office and one day show up wearing a suit for a lunch with a friend. Change of style in clothing can be a big clue that something is up. In addition, taking time off using the pretext of a doctor’s appointment is doing a disservice to your current employee. Schedule interview appointments for weekends or evenings when you are off and it will cause you less stress and help protect the fact that you are job hunting.Job hunting while employed in an open office atmosphere takes finesse and caution so the entire office doesn’t find out . TheJobNetwork offers an easier way to job hunt and not miss jobs for which you are qualified. Human rights are the freedoms and rights that all human beings have an entitlement to enjoy during their lifetime. They are the rights that the state has an obligation to provide to the citizens. They include the right to liberty, life, expression and thought, and equal treatment before the law. These rights express the various responsibilities that the government should provide to individuals and, responsibilities of the government authorities to groups or individuals3. The state bears the role of ensuring that all the citizens enjoy their rights. They are fundamental inalienable rights, which all people in the state have an entitlement to as human beings. The rights exist as legal or natural rights in both international and national law. Human rights are an international practice that prevails in policies of different states and, and in various activities organizations that are nongovernmental4. Human rights a re norms that protect people from legal, social, and political abuses. The source of conception of these rights is the treaties, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the human rights documents that people followed in international organizations. The Declaration of the rights clearly illustrates many human rights that all countries have a responsibility to protect and respect5. The rights fall into six key families, which include Security rights that protect all the people against crimes like murder, torture, rape, and massacre. The societies that existed during the period had developed elaborate systems, political legitimacy, and conceptions of justice meant to realize human dignity. Another crucial issue that has contributed to the development of human rights is the secularization of the Judeo-Christian ethics by the Europeans. A human being gives birth to a baby who is equal in dignity to the mother8. Human beings have a conscience and reason that guides them to act to one another in the spirit of goodwill. Human rights form vocabularies that articulate the norms of various cultures that guide people to associate with one another effectively9. The widespread nature of agreements of international human rights provides the necessary support of the values that human widely share. Human rights norms are

Legalizing the use of midicinal marijuana Essay

Legalizing the use of midicinal marijuana - Essay Example rlands, cannabis is openly tolerated and can be both purchased and consumed in one of several Amsterdam ‘coffee houses.’ Inexplicably, the city has not been thrown into anarchy which, evidently, is what the opponents of cannabis legalisation are afraid of. The evidence demonstrates that legalizing cannabis for medicinal in addition to general purposes would prove a benefit to society, evidence which is well-known throughout the scientific, political and public arena but this collective knowledge has yet to be acted upon. This discussion will examine the issue of legalisation drawing from European and American experiences. A report in The Economist expressly states concerns regarding a rising drug using and dependent population if these drugs should be made more available. While acknowledging that the price of drugs is artificially high due to the difficulties of circumventing the law, authors of this report indicate that it is precisely because of the high cost and difficulty to obtain that prevents more individuals from experimenting with them, thus becoming addicted, either physically or psychologically. Although these arguments can also be made for other substances that are currently legal, voters have argued that it is not necessary to bring in more potentially harmful substances into legal circulation at this time. To support the argument in favor of legalisation, authors pull in the theories of John Stuart Mill, who espoused that adult citizens should have the right to make their own choices regarding whether or not to participate in harmful activity as long as it does no harm to others, a theo ry that has been largely ignored in the decisions regarding alcohol and tobacco, but not cannabis. (â€Å"Case for Legalisation,† 2001) Eleven states allow the use of marijuana for medicinal use, Rhode Island the most recent joining California, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, Washington and, Vermont and Maine. However, laws enacted by

Program Review (Fresh Eyes) Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2500 words

Program Review (Fresh Eyes) - Research Paper Example This review also determines how to avoid or mitigate these challenges during program process. All these points aim at enhancing success in implementing this program and, thus, achieving the required objectives and goals of the program. Program design is very essential in program implementation. This is because it acts as a guiding tool in the program implementation. According to Wiggins & McTighe (2005), designing of curriculum and learning experiences to meet specified purposes is an essential act of the teaching profession. Therefore, since this program revolves around the education profession, its design will involve crafting of curriculum and learning experiences. The crafting must be designed to help the program implementation team to achieve the objectives of the program. This crafting is not an easy task since it requires employment of both tactics and experience. It also requires teamwork since it would involve several individuals and stakeholders. Therefore, this is one chal lenge that would be encountered in the course of program implementation. Moreover, for the design chosen for a program to be successful, there are various education issues that it should address. According to Kelly & Melograno (2004, p. 8), â€Å"it must address issues of individualization, accountability, and effective practice.† Incorporating specific students’ needs on the program will address the issue of individualization. Enhancing competence of the people involved in the program will address the issue of accountability. On the other hand, ensuring that the program meets the required standards will address the issue of effective practice. Addressing these issues is not always easy since there are several limiting factors. Some of the limiting factors are learners’ learning styles, educators’ instruction style and the learning environment available. This might make addressing the issues identified to be difficult, thus, it is another challenge that m ight be encountered during implementation of the program. Different learners have different learning abilities and characteristics. This program will involve teaching education professions on effective research practice and management. Therefore, the audience for this program will be the education professionals regardless of area of specialization. Such an audience consists of adult learners only. One major characteristic of these learners is that they have other responsibilities in their life, which they consider more important than learning. As a result, they would be combining learning with their other activities, responsibilities, and duties that they have to undertake in their life. This might distract them from the learning process, thus, making them not fully dedicated to learning. The lack of dedication might hinder the learning process among these adult learners. Therefore, this is another challenge that might be encountered during the implementation of the proposed program . Time and resources are two essentials of any type of program implementation. This means that any type of a program implementation has to use a certain amount of time and resources. A major characteristic of these two is that they are limited in terms of availability. It is always difficult to find sufficient time and resources for implementation of any program. As a result, the resources and time available for program implementation must be maximally utilized. In this research, a challenge of having

However, even for tourism sector, potential areas for specific tourism will be identified to optimize the development effects on the tourism sector in this district.† (http://www.mpag.gov.my/en/rancangan-kawasan-khas) Based on the statistics of visitors visited Jasin, Malacca, (Picture 1.3) which part of the proposed site, Klebang Beach, it shows that Jasin is famous and people do visits from time to time. Besides that, it can be a problem statement for this proposed project, which are Restaurant and Convention. Picture 1.3 Picture above shows the visitors’ statistics that visited Jasin, Melaka. (http://www.pdtjasin.gov.my/) Apart from the Malacca state itself which is the majority of visitors, tourists from this country who came from the state of Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor and Terengganu. Tourists from outside also is of Neighboring countries of Singapore, the Netherlands and Australia. For tourism activities as well as migration, greatly affect the destination distance. Distance to the place of destination resorts will attract the number of tourists. Vice versa (Nicolas Mas, 2005). This explains why more tourists in the country against foreign tourists visiting to Malacca. Table 1 shows the country of origin of respondents who travel to Melaka. Based on the findings study, traveler’s original from Melaka is the most tourist compared tourists from other countries. The percentage of tourists who hails from Malacca was 32.1 percent. From this table, the visitors that visits Malacca can be broken down into two which are tourists in the country and overseas tourists. The number of tourists in the country, 93.6 percent of the tourists who come from States that are in Malaysia while foreign tourists whose numbers were only 6.4 percent of the tourists who come from outside from Malaysia, based on, Geography Online TM Malaysian Journal of Society and Space 9 issue 3 (12-23) 17  © 2013, ISSN 2180-2491. Solution to the Problem Statement All-In-One Development As the first problem stated above by Alor Gajah Municipal Council, they want to develop a sustainable and effective development which are as above aspects. The aspects are: Housing Commercial Industry Infrastructure and Utilities Public Facility Recreation Social/Community So, solution to this problem is to combine some of the aspects together which is the proposed project. The proposed project which are combination of Infrastructure and Utilities, Recreations, Social/Community, Public Facilities and Commercial. With this combination, it can safe cost by develop all the aspects in one building instead of separate development. Not only can save cost, it can preserve the natural environment and nature surrounding at once, it can reduce the negative impact on nature. Since the proposed site is a beach, it will not pollute the beach during and also after construction. Emily Brontes Wuthering Heights †Themes of Reading and Books :: Wuthering Heights Essays

Wuthering Heights – Themes of Reading and Books An author’s particular style and technique, is usually greatly attributed to their personality and individual preference.   In the case of Emily Bronte, she was an extremely withdrawn and private person; and it is because of this, why she turned to books as a form of expression.   In her notorious Wuthering Heights, she uses books as an important way to illustrate a number of key issues; most notably character, and the theme of love.   Although subtle in her method, Bronte passion is what she employs as a tool in the construction of the epic tale.    In the novel Wuthering Heights, the first time we are given reference to books is during chapter 3, prior to Lockwood’s nightmare. Here we find the delirious houseguest in the confines of a mysterious room, and we are told that â€Å"Catherine’s library was select, and its state of dissipation proved it to have been well used.†(p.24).   Instantly, this simple piece of information proved useful in giving the reader a glimpse of Catherine’s character.   From this statement, we are able to conclude that Catherine was in fact a woman of knowledge; but we are still left to wonder exactly what type of knowledge she had.   The fascinating attribute about books is that we all have different preferences.   Furthermore is the fact that reading is usually seen as escapism of some sort; thus, it brings a sense of individualism into a world of persuasion, as well as peace of mind in an atmosphere of chaos. We will go further into this as we progress.      Books are often used to shield us against the genuine problems of the human race. This is a main method of avoidance, although we must realize that there weren’t many other alternatives for entertainment. Books have the most powerful effects on its’ audience because it’s the only form of media whose outcomes rely solely on that of the reader; we also must consider that literature has been present for thousands of centuries. Books, therefore, are not only able to inform us, but let us portray the outcomes to our liking.    When Lockwood’s nightmare scene is at it’s climax, he is able to get rid of the terrifying figure when â€Å"(he) snatched (his hand) through the hole, (and) hurriedly piled the books up in a pyramid against it.
